Mouse's Ways to Witch#4: Rock-stacks and trail markers (“cairns”)
are an ancient practice and can even be spiritual to some people.
However, rock-stacks made out of and in the way of a running creek
should be immediately kicked down or never made in the first place. River and creek stones are homes (sometimes NESTS) to many aquatic animals and moving or removing them can ruin ecosystems. Please make cairns on your own property with your own rocks and remember to stack responsibly!
