Fluffy's Plantober-Promptober

 Words from Fluffy: “ Hi there. Hello. So if you like plants -growing them, drawing them, eating them- I’m YOUR bun! Kind of. I mean- I know all about different kinds of plants. Also fungi too, which are not plants. But they are in the ground and can be creepy too, so I let them in --this is a prompt-tober for ‘artists’.

 


  1. Acorns and falling leaves. (note: are dangerous to horses)

  2. Cordyceps Fungi. They zombify bugs. 

  3. Fly agaric mushroom. Don’t touch

  4. Wolfsbane flowers. Don’t touch. 

  5. Eye of Newt. It’s mustard. 

  6. Toe of frog. It’s buttercups

  7. Wool of bat. It’s holly leaves. 

  8. Tongue of dog. It’s Houndstongue. Don’t touch. 

  9. Deadly Nightshade(s). So many. Don’t touch.

  10. A lush-green lawn- wait for it; in a place where it has no place being well kept. 

  11. Corpse Flowers. They’re big and that’s really what their name is!

  12. The good-old venus flytrap. Treat them well. They’re friends for life. 

  13. Tomatoes. They’re on the attack. 

  14. A house plant. Like the lawn, imagine one being in a place it really should be. 

  15. Cacti. Work best in desserts, obviously!

  16. Pomegranates. And their seeds. 

  17. Dracula Orchid. Yes, these are real. They’re all black too. 

  18. Roses. With thorns. The best way to show someone you’ll do anything for love. 

  19. Foxgloves. Because I think foxgloves are neat!

  20. Bleeding Tooth Fungus. 

  21. Droseras! Also called sundews. They’re my favorite! 

  22. Willows. The greatest tree of them all -no take-backs.

  23. Rafflesia flowers. So disgusting. 

  24. Giant Water Lilies; in case the water wasn’t scary enough. 

  25. Wolf apple bushes. They grow in South America. 

  26. Poppies! They’re also poisonous. 

  27. Pitcher Plants. Be it trumpet or toilet. 

  28. A still life of fruit. (note: fruit rots)

  29. Calla Lilies. You see them at funerals all the time!

  30. Pumpkins, Gourds and Beets. You can carve them out. 

  31. Marigolds. Also known as Calendula flowers, the flower of October.
