Conceptualizing in real time: Haunted Hollow architecture
Book releases and more mean this blog has stayed mostly qued-up, but that's never a reason to not keep up with some insight.
One fun thing I would like to do (couldn't with Mouse, because everything is roughly at cat/rabbit-eye level) is show the scale and architecture of Haunted Hollow.
Ideally all of the main identifiable owner characters have houses modeled around what their familiar of choice is supposed to live in.
So Prince Marcus and Belial (also Monty's) vampire manor is supposed to look like a bat house.
The house of Mouse's witches is designed to look like the top of a witch-hat, but also like cat climber-bungalos.
And finally Harvey (Fluffy's owner) has a dilapidated shack surrounded by barbed wire and fencing that's also supposed to look something like a rabbit hutch, especially with the makeshift cooler on the side that looks like a water-feeder.
All of these are just concepts now and I still got to come up with what Nancy's abode looks like. Since her pet is Cavity, it should be something rat-related. But what???
